<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image evaluation apparatus that can appropriately evaluate an image with a subject blur. <P>SOLUTION: The image evaluation apparatus includes: storage means (25) for storing a plurality of images obtained when a subject within an imaging field is imaged by imaging means (7) of a camera (1) in a plurality of time series frames at predetermined time intervals; frequency distribution generation means (21) for generating from the plurality of images stored in the storage means a frequency distribution of motion vectors produced between the frames in a plurality of divided regions into which each image is divided; and image evaluation means (21) for evaluating the plurality of images according to a value corresponding to the variance of the frequency distribution of the motion vectors calculated by the frequency distribution generation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
