<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the probability of preposterous estimation of power usage depending on an operator's capability of data collection. <P>SOLUTION: A power usage estimation device comprises: an initial manipulated variable acquisition part 6 for acquiring a manipulated variable MVo before changing a set value; a controlled variable changing amount calculation part 7 for calculating a changing amount ΔPV of a controlled variable PV due to a change of a set value SP; a highest output value acquisition part 8 for acquiring a manipulated-variable highest output value OH; a heatup time coefficient calculation part 9 for calculating a heatup time coefficient TH from the manipulated variable MVo, the changing amount ΔPV and the manipulated-variable highest output value OH, using a polynomial for estimation based on a multivariate analysis; an upper and lower limit processing part 10 for executing at least one of upper limit processing and lower limit processing for the heatup time coefficient TH; and a power usage calculation part 11 for calculating power usage from the heatup time coefficient TH after processing by the upper and lower limit processing part 10, a heater capacity coefficient HP showing a heating capacity of a heater and the changing amount ΔPV. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
