A method for relaying an application is provided to utilize the application for a smart card through a network system including a service relay server, a client terminal, and a service requestor server by using a unique code and/or key value linked with the application, and minimize a storage capacity of the smart card by storing the unique code and/or key value. A service relay server links/stores an application to be relayed by responding to a service requestor and a unique code corresponding to the application to a storage medium(210). The service relay server extracts the unique code corresponding to the application selected or requested by a client terminal from the storage medium, and provides the unique code to the client terminal(225). The service relay server provides application information and the unique code corresponding to the application to the service requestor requesting relay of the application selected or requested by the client terminal(230). The application is a discount coupon, a ticket, a gift certificate, a lottery ticket, a prescription, a meal ticket, electronic cash and a service. |
