The trace system (30) has a technology object (32) whose different values such as variables (33, 34), instruction (37), events and status, are stored in a trace (36). The values include a time stamp whose time depends on global time. The values of the object are associated by a common representation of the values in a chart. The trace is assigned to the technology object. A trigger including time information is transferred to a device over a data bus, where a trace end is determined from the time information. Functions of motion controls are synchronized over a bus system. The technology object is selected from a group consisting of object axis, object synchronization, object path, object caliper, object pin, object cam track, object external sensor, object cam disk, object temperature channel, object gear, object adder, object formula, object sensor and object regulator. An independent claim is also included for a method for tracing data of a technology object. |
