PURPOSE: An apparatus for repairing an aged water pipeline and removing tree roots from a sewer pipe is provided to simultaneously obtain torque and thrust by jetting fluid through first and second jetting pipes. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for repairing an aged water pipeline and removing tree roots from a sewer pipe comprises a body pipe(10), a guide unit(20), a fixing pipe(30), a rotary body(40), a cutter blade(50), and a scale removing device(60). A first jetting pipe of the first body jets high-pressure water rearward. Guide wheels(W) of the guide unit roll along the inner wall of a water pipe. The rotary body is rotatably supported to the inside the fixing pipe through a bearing and has an angular velocity vector in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the body pipe. The cutter blade is rotated with the rotary body. The scale removing device scrapes the inner wall of the water pipe.
