PURPOSE: Electrochromic material is provided to improve the stability of oxidation and reduction reaction, thereby securing the stability of electrochromic element. CONSTITUTION: Electrochromic material comprises reductive electrochromic compound in which ferrocenyl group is connected. The reductive electrochromic compound comprises anthraquinone, benzophenone, viologen, derivatives or combinations thereof. Electrochromic element comprises a first electrode and a second electrode(12,22) facing each other, an electrochromic layer(15) including the electrochromic material, and locates on one side of the first or the second electrode, and electrolyte(30) between the first electrode and the second electrode. |
