The present invention concerns dyes of the general formula I where X and Y represent hydrogen, bromine or chlorine, but not simultaneously hydrogen; R represents F, Cl, Br, COOR1 or CF3; R′ represents H or F; R1 represents C1-C6-alkyl; and one of W1 and W2 represents hydroxyl and the other nitro and Y is always ortho to the hydroxyl group; but not compounds in which R represents Cl attached to the phenyl nucleus in a is position ortho to the NH group nor compounds in which W1 represents nitro, W2 represents hydroxyl, Y represents hydrogen, X represents chlorine and R represents bromine attached to the phenyl nucleus in a position meta to the NH group, mixtures with further dyes, and also their preparation and use. |
