PURPOSE: An operation method of the navigation device is provided to efficiently select a path by a user because a major road and a TPEG(Transport Protocol Expert Group) related to the major road in a route from a starting point to a destination are provided to the user. CONSTITUTION: An operation method of the navigation device is as follows. A route from a starting point to a destination(S210). Main roads including at least one of expressways, arterial roads, and national highways is extracted from a searched route(S220). Traffic information related to the extracted main roads is searched(S250). The searched route and the traffic information with respect to the searched route are displayed so routing is taken(S290). |
