FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed siphon comprises intake and discharge tubes 2, 3, fluid level gage tube 4, feed tube 5 with cock 6 and branch pipe 7, intake cover 8 and manifold 10. The latter consists of casing 11, barrel 14 and cover 17 furnished with outlet branch pipe 18. Casing 11 is made up of cylinder divided by baffle 21 with radial and axial holes 22, 23, into top chamber 19 with inlet branch pipe 12 and bottom chamber 20. Intake cover 8 is divided by baffle 25 into top and bottom chambers 26, 27 communicated via filling tube 28. Lower ends of suction tube 2, discharge tube 3 and pressure gage tube 4 are arranged in manifold 10, while their upper ends are arranged in bottom chamber of intake cover 8. ^ EFFECT: simplified and compact design, higher efficiency. ^ 4 cl, 6 dwg |
