<p>PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to manufacture a safety unit by laminating components in order, thereby simplifying assembling process, improving working efficiency, and reducing manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode; a case accepting the electrode assembly; a cap plate covering the opening of the case, and an external short part installed on the cap plate. The external short part comprises a cover(43) installed on the cap plate, a terminal plate(44) on the cover combined to the cover, and additionally a connect tap(42) between the cap plate and the cover.</p> |
