RACK ASSIST TYPE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A rack-type electronic power auxiliary steering device is provided to prevent noise and damage of a belt in advance, and increase belt tension as much as a stepped pulley of a hanging part and a setting part. CONSTITUTION: A rack-type electronic power auxiliary steering device comprises a rack housing, a motor pulley housing(240), and a belt(230). The rack housing forms a through-hole(430) in one side and covers a rack bar(109) and a ball screw. The motor pulley housing comprises a fixing part(420) and a declined part(400). The fixing part is slid along the declined part and settled on the through-hole of the rack housing. The belt delivers torque of a motor to the rack bar through a driving pulley installing in the end of a motor shaft.
