METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HIGHGRADE ZINC OXIDE

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of high purity zinc oxide is provided to reduce investment cost, simplify manufacturing process, and obtain high purity zinc oxide. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of high purity zinc oxide comprises the following steps: dissolving more than one kind which is selected between zinc oxide waste dust and Zn in hydrochloric acid; adding Zn powder and purifying by using a cementation reaction; purifying the solution more than 1 time by using anion exchange resin; purifying the refined solution using an ammonia precipitation separation method; precipitating Zn from the purified solution by using the ammonia precipitation method; and heat-treating the precipitated Zn in oxygen atmosphere in order to obtain the zinc oxide.
