PURPOSE: An iron-based powder manufacturing method is provided to improve the forming strength of iron powder pulverized by a water injection process by manufacturing the iron powder from molten iron refined during a steel making process. CONSTITUTION: An iron-based powder manufacturing method comprises a step of providing molten iron produced through an iron making process and a steel making process to a tundish and a step of spraying water to molten steel discharged through a nozzle connected to the tundish.
