<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital RAW image demosaic method which assumes the form of an image matrix where each pixel is assigned only one color among plural prescribed colors of a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: A step of obtaining a color digital image with the same resolution as that of a RAW image 10 includes a step in which each pixel is produced from pixels corresponding to a luminance image 10L and chrominance images 10C1 and 10C2 which are reconstructed from the RAW image. Further, there are included a step which, by taking adjacent pixels in different colors into calculation, converts the RAW image by applying local convolution kernel to the pixels, obtains an image 10S with a low frequency coefficient by using a low frequency local kernel S, and obtains images 10V, 10H and 10D with high frequency coefficients by using high frequency local kernels V, H, and D; a step which reconstructs the luminance image by using at least the image with a low frequency coefficient; and a step which reconstructs the chrominance images by using the images with high frequency coefficients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
