<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll restraint controller and a roll restraint control method for securing turning traceability while restraining a roll, by restraining understeering from being generated caused by a braking force concerned in roll restraint control. <P>SOLUTION: The roll restraint controller sets a control threshold value to the first control threshold value, when detecting the purport of a non-understeering state, and sets the control threshold value to the second control threshold value larger than the first control threshold value, when detecting the purport of an understeering state (steps 108, 110, 114), and the roll restraint control is carried out to restrain the roll of a vehicle (steps 118, 120), by imparting the braking force onto a wheel of the vehicle, when a detected roll state value is higher than the set control threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
