<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving communication device capable of improving a power saving efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A power saving communication device 1 comprises: an interface part 4; a signal processor 5; a modem part 6; alarms 4a and 6a that output alarm state signals in the case that an abnormality occurs in communication function parts 4-6; power supply switches 7-9 which are provided so as to correspond to the interface part 4, the signal processor 5, and the modem part 6 respectively, and switch the presence or absence of power supply; an input monitoring part 10 that outputs a pause signal when no signal is input from the interface part 4, the signal processor 5, and the modem part 6; a condition memory 11 that stores a stop condition; and a controller 13 that collects the alarm state signals outputted from the alarms 4a and 6a and the pause signal outputted from the input monitoring part 10, and stops power supply to the interface part 4, the signal processor 5, and the modem part 6 via the power supply switches 7-9 when states of these signals match the stop condition stored in the condition memory 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
