摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a positive electrode active material is provided to control the size of first particles of the positive electrode active material by using carbon source in manufacturing the precursor of the positive electrode active material, and to form pores in the positive electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a positive electrode active material comprises: a step of forming the precursor of the positive electrode active material for lithium secondary battery by mixing solvent, a carbon source, and at least one selected from nickel supply source, cobalt source and manganese source; and a step of heat-treating a mixture after mixing the precursor and a lithium source. The nickel source comprises nickel sulfate, nickel nitrate, nickel acetate, nickel chloride, nickel phosphate, or combinations thereof.
