REARVIEW MIRROR DEVICE INTEGRATING RADIO-FREQUENCY RECEPTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a very simple and low-priced rearview mirror device incorporating a radio-frequency reception system.

SOLUTION: The rearview mirror device comprises: a light-reflective surface made of an electrically conductive material; and at least one planar conductive element lying on a plane substantially parallel to the light-reflective surface. The conductive element is capacitively coupled with the light-reflective surface, and generates a capacitance between the light-reflective surface and the conductive element suitable for the reception of radio-frequency signals.
