The arrangement has a thermal reactor i.e. synthesis gas reactor (1), hermetically closed and cyclically filled with input. The reactor guides chemically-physically controlled gasification processes. The thermal reactor includes three reaction chambers (3). The reaction chambers are equipped with a defined special canalization material. An auxiliary assembly is arranged in a pressure conveyor system for application with process water. The input is supplied by the pressure conveyor system. Walls of the reactor are lined with ceramic shaped bricks including a catalytic action. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a synthesis gas generator.
