<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout evaluation device capable of optimizing locations of a plurality of image forming devices (MFPs). <P>SOLUTION: The distances between MFPs 1 and 2 and each terminal (PC) are calculated based on a communication state (for example, a field intensity) of wireless communication between the MFPs 1 and 2 and each PC to recognize a position relationship between the MFPs 1 and 2 and each PC. Also, the number of printed sheets of printing jobs received from each PC with respect to the MFPs 1 and 2 are summed up, and when the number of printed sheets is biased (suppose the MFP 1 has more), a change in layout for moving the MFP 2 closer to the MFP 1 or moving the MFP 1 further away from the MFP 2 is suggested to a user so as to position the PC transmitting the printing job to the MFP 1, out of the PCs positioned between the MFP 1 and the MFP 2, closer to the MFP 2 than to the MFP 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
