A two-wheeled motor vehicle has a taillight device adapted in such a way that light passing through a license plate lighting lens is not visible from behind the vehicle without installation of a vehicle body cover on the lower part of the taillight device and that the taillight device has increased freedom of design. The two-wheeled motor vehicle (10) has the taillight device (50) placed at the rear end of a rear cowl (21) and having a main lens (52) at the rear of the taillight device, a rear fender (22) covering above a rear wheel (WR), and a license plate (23) placed on the rear fender (22). In the taillight device (50), the main lens (52) has a license plate lighting opening (55) for leading light of a light source (53) to the license plate (23) and also has license plate lighting lens (56) placed at the license plate lighting opening (55). In the lower surface of the main lens (52) is formed a depression (54) depressed upward and having a front wall (54a) inclined rearward and upward.
