<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform previous video confirmation (preview) in a short time concerning video signals of a broadcast material recorded in a video server. <P>SOLUTION: A video server system includes a video signal recorder/reproducer, a video server, a controller, and a control terminal, and records and reproduces video signals as video file data. The system includes a function of displaying on a screen of the control terminal, at least a video being recorded or a recorded video by placing a mouse cursor on a recording schedule being displayed on the screen of the control terminal. Even about cut points for automatically detecting and recording positions to switch scenes in the video, one cut point in the neighborhood is extracted in accordance with the position of the mouse cursor from among multiple cut points, so as to start reproduction from the top of the cut point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
