<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium plate excelling in rigidity in a rolling width direction, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In this titanium plate excelling in rigidity in a rolling width direction which is composed by setting [%Fe]+[%Cr]+[%Ni], [%O]+[%N]+[%C], and the content of C to 0.250-0.750 mass%, 0.030-0.400 mass% and ≤0.05 mass%, respectively, and has a residual part composed of Ti and unavoidable impurities, a ratio B/A of the total area (A) of crystal grains in each of which the normal direction of the (0001) plane of an α phase is <40° with respect to the normal direction ND direction of a rolling surface to the total area (B) of crystal grains in each of which the normal direction of the (0001) plane of an α phase is 70-110° from the ND direction to the rolling width direction TD direction and in the range of ±20° from the TD direction to the rolling direction RD direction is ≥1, in a (0001) plane pole figure from the normal direction from the rolling surface. The titanium plate can be manufactured by performing hot rolling in one direction at rolling reduction ≥50% in a temperature range of the β transformation point to a temperature ≥70°C, and performing cold rolling at rolling reduction ≤40% in the direction identical to that of the hot rolling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
