摘要 <p>The present invention improves the distance resolution of a radar device by allowing digital signals to be obtained at shorter intervals than the sampling timings of an A/D converter circuit. A pulse transmission position adjusting section (102) generates a transmission signal in which the transmission positions have been adjusted by shifting the timings of a pulse signal, which has fixed pulse intervals and which is generated by and outputted from a pulse generating section (101), by a given time adjustment amount (a) that is shorter than the sampling intervals of the A/D converting section (114) of a receiver section. In this step, the transmission position of each pulse in the pulse signal is delayed by said time adjustment amount (a), and the signal pattern up to when the transmission position returns to the position of the original pulse signal is regarded as a single pattern. From a digital signal generated in the A/D converting section (114) by sampling a receipt signal corresponding to the transmission signal, a distance detecting section (115) generates a receipt signal in a pseudo-oversampled state at intervals of said time adjustment amount (a) on the basis of information on the transmission positions of the pulses in the pulse signal.</p>
