<p>Provided is a primer composition for optical article capable of forming a primer coat layer having excellent shock resistance, excoriation resistance, and adhesive property, and high refractive index, without generating poor appearance such as ununiformity, and cloudiness, and without being dependent on the material, and having a good storage stability, in an optical substrate having a high refractive index, especially in plastic lenses. The primer composition for optical article is composed of a urethane resin having a skeleton derived from polycarbonate, a polyester resin, inorganic oxide particles, and water, and is capable of containing a water miscible organic solvent as needed.</p> |
