<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of reducing a load to an organic EL element and achieving a long life of the organic EL element. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display device, in which an organic EL module is constituted by arranging a plurality of organic EL elements in a matrix shape, and an organic EL display panel is constituted by arranging the organic EL modules in a matrix shape, comprises: a maximum gradation detection circuit for detecting a maximum gradation in the organic EL module; a data conversion circuit, to which the maximum gradation data detected by the maximum gradation detection circuit is inputted, for performing a data conversion processing, based on a light emission time width of the maximum gradation data, by multiplying the light emission time width by a coefficient of a maximum gradation allowable light emission time width/the light emission time width; and a current value conversion circuit, to which the maximum gradation data is inputted, for performing a current value conversion processing, based on a peak current value of the maximum gradation data, by adjusting the peak current value so that a luminance value becomes almost the same luminance before the data conversion processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
