PURPOSE:To produce the titled pellet having excellent water resistance and combustion efficiency, by kneeding a crushed wooden waste with a crushed synthetic resin waste and molding the mixture into a stick having an unsymmetrical crosssection. CONSTITUTION:95-90% crushed wooden waste having a water content of 7- 15% and 5-10% crushed synthetic resin waste are put into a hopper 3. A stirrer 5 provided at the end part of an arm 12 is rotated through a driving wheel 11, a driven wheel 10 and a rotating shaft 9 by means of a motor 4, and said wastes are allowed to drop between a constant inner lid 7 and a surrounding member 14 by the action of teeth 17 interlocked with teeth 6 of the member 14. While kneading the wastes, they are passed through the recesses 6a of the tooth part 6 and pressed into extrusion holes 16. The synthetic resin is molten by the member 14 heated to 130-170 deg.C by heated blocks 18, and the mixture is kneaded and extruded to obtain a fuel pellet which is provided with integrated protrusions at irregular intervals on the outer periphery and is rod-like having an unsymmetrical crosssection. |
