<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging method, and a program for utilizing a stand-by time of recording images immediately after serial shooting, and performing operation for an image data to be recorded in accordance with the intention of a photographer. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 comprises: imaging systems (11-13) for shooting a plurality of time-consecutive images; a DRAM 14 for temporarily holding the plurality of shot images; an image processing part 15 for performing non-reciprocal encoding for a plurality of image data temporarily held; a touch input part 33 for displaying a list of small images for each of a plurality of image data held in the DRAM 14, and accepting the selection of any of the small images in the list during the course of processing time carried out by the image processing part 15; an image processing part 15 for performing non-compression encoding or reversible compression encoding for the image data corresponding to the small image accepted for the selection; and a memory card for recording the image data processed by the image processing part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
