<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous insulating layer high in heat resistance and flexibility, and a secondary battery which includes the porous insulating layer formed on an electrode surface thereof and is improved in heat resistance and flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery includes: a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material layer; a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material layer; and a nonaqueous electrolyte composition. In the lithium ion secondary battery, a porous insulating layer is formed on a surface of at least one layer of the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer, the porous insulating layer being coated with an inorganic oxide and containing fibers comprising a resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
