Vehicle antilocking braking system - uses peripheral velocity signals for each braked wheel to control braking pressure regulation valves

The braking system uses pressure regulation valves (31-38) inserted in the hydraulic braking circuit between the master braking cylinder (2a) and the wheel brakes (51-54) for each of the vehicle wheels (FL,FR; RL,RR). Each of the latter has a peripheral velocity sensor (41-44), the obtained signals fed to the pressure regulation valves (31-38) which respond to variations in the measured peripheral velocity to allow the hydraulic braking pressure to be raised, maintained constant, or reduced. - A protection system prevents the braking pressure for 2 of the wheel brakes (51-54) from being raised simultaneously.
