<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier that has excellent toner spent property and abrasion resistance (chipping and peeling), as well as developer having the carrier and an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: A carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer includes core particles having a coating layer on the surface thereof. The core particles are formed of dispersing magnetic particulates into a binder resin, and the coating layer includes resin obtained by subjecting a copolymer including an acrylic-based portion having a siloxane bond and an acrylic-based portion having a cross-linked precursor to a heating treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
