<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle for reliably operating a limiter by collecting heat from a heater only in case of emergency. <P>SOLUTION: The spring property of a resilient piece 44 abutting on the limiter 31 is used so as to fix the limiter 31 to a heater press cover 36 by pressurization against a heat collection plate 21. Thus, play of the limiter 31 due to nonuniformity of the limiter pressing plate 41 is suppressed. Besides, heat transmitted from the heater 5 to a heater pressure 11 in such a state is collected by the heat collection plate 21 to be transmitted to the limiter 31. Consequently, the limiter 31 is reliably operated by collecting head from the heater 5 only in case of emergency without directly attaching the limiter 31 to the heater 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
