摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate an adsorption quantity of a reducing agent. <P>SOLUTION: Time series data of a reduction quantity of NOx while stopping supply of urea, is calculated based on an NH3 adsorption quantity just before stopping the supply of the urea estimated by a catalyst model and time series data of an operation state of an internal combustion engine when stopping the supply of the urea, and time series data of a discharge quantity of the NOx while stopping the supply of the urea is calculated. The estimated NH3 adsorption quantity just before stopping the supply of the urea is corrected by comparing the calculated time series data of the discharge quantity of the NOx with time series data of a detection value of the NOx detected while stopping the supply of the urea. A present NH3 adsorption quantity estimated by the catalyst model is corrected by a correction quantity of the corrected NH3 adsorption quantity just before stopping the supply of the urea. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
