<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a corner part formed on a peripheral edge of a door opening. <P>SOLUTION: A door opening structure 10 includes an outer panel 22 and an inner panel 24 forming a closed section 38. The door opening structure includes a skeleton member 14 constituting a peripheral edge 26A of a door opening 26 in which a joining part 30 on one end side in the outer panel 22 and the inner panel 24 is formed in a vehicle, a body part 40 which extends along the longitudinal direction of a corner part 26A1 formed in the peripheral edge 26A while an end 40A on the door opening 26 side is joined with the joining part 30, and a reinforcing member 16 having a reinforcing part 42 forming a hollow part 44 in the closed section 38 with the body part 40. In this constitution, deformation of the corner part 26A1 can be suppressed by the reinforcing member 16 even when the stress is concentrated, for example, in the corner part 26A1 by the input of the stress to a vehicle body 12 from a suspension or the like during the travel of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
