Disclosed is an induction heat cooker provided with a ring-form main heating coil (MC), a first and second flat-shaped secondary heating coil (SC1, SC2) arranged near both sides of the main heating coil, inverter circuits (MIV, SIV1, SIV2) for supplying inductive heating power to all the heating coils, a power control circuit (200) for controlling output of the inverter circuits, and a spillover detection unit (50) having electrodes (40, 41) for spillover detection. The first and second auxiliary coils (SC1, SC2) are driven alternately, and a selection switch (350) which allows a user to control convection promotion of the object to be cooked is provided on an operation unit. The detection electrodes are positioned continuously from around the main heating coil to a certain position outside of the auxiliary heating coils.
