A system for delivering advertisements based on a digital television system and a mobile communication device is disclosed. The television system and the mobile device are connectable in an ad hoc manner. When a user is attracted by an advertisement being broadcasted by the television, an instruction may be sent from a remote control device of the television system to trigger the television system to send an electronic coupon to the mobile device. An icon may then be displayed on a display screen of the mobile device to represent the coupon. When the icon is selected, the electronic coupon is displayed. The electronic coupon may include an advertising message. The user may select the message for receiving detailed information about the product from a data manager connected to the mobile device through a communication network. |
