<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of a maximum torque by maintaining supercharging pressure at the maximum level, even if exhaust gas is made to flow back while the supercharging pressure has reached the maximum level, in an EGR device. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 24 of the EGR device 1 introduces intake gas from a downstream side of a throttle valve 7 to an upstream side of a turbine 5 through a high pressure EGR flow path 11, when throttle downstream pressure is higher than turbine upstream pressure. Further, a reflux amount of exhaust gas is operated by operation control for a low pressure EGR valve 14. Thereby, at the upstream side of the turbine 5, unburned fuel contained in exhaust gas is oxidized by intake gas. Consequently, work of the turbine 5 and a compressor 6 can be increase, so that even if exhaust gas flows back while the supercharging pressure has reached the maximum level, the supercharging pressure is maintained at the maximum level and an intake amount of intake gas into the internal combustion engine 2 is not reduced, and lowering of the maximum torque can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
