The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition usable as a heat-latent polymerization initiator that initiates polymerization at a lower temperature though the polymerization is not initiated at a room temperature, and is excellent in catalytic activity. The purpose of the present invention is further to provide a heat-latent polymerization initiator composed of the composition, a polymerization method using the heat-latent polymerization initiator, and a curable composition containing the heat-latent polymerization initiator. This composition is characterized by containing an amine compound having a specific piperidine structure, and tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane.
