<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the number of subcarriers used for data transmission in accordance with performance of a transmission destination device. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting method is to change the number of subcarriers used for the data transmission in accordance with the performance of the transmission destination device being a transmission destination of an OFDM signal and to transmit the OFDM signal. The method includes: a step for deciding one or serial plural subcarriers positioned inward from each end of frequency channels to be the subcarriers which are not used for the data transmission to the transmission destination device, by using information indicating the performance of the transmission destination device for deciding the subcarriers which are not used for the data transmission to the transmission destination device; a step for generating the OFDM signal for transmitting data to the transmission destination device without using the subcarriers which are not used for the data transmission; and a step for deciding that power is not substantially allocated to the subcarriers which are not used for the data transmission when the OFDM signal is transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
