<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logical unit number management device capable of making an OS or a BIOS recognize an access target corresponding to an LUN that cannot be recognized by the OS or the BIOS. <P>SOLUTION: When changing a correspondence between an LUN and logical identification information stored in an LUN management table at an external change request and changing the LUN management table at the change request, a logical unit number management device 1 notifies an access processing unit of the completion of the changes.
