<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which can maintain an excellent contact condition between an electric cable and a terminal and achieve a suitable contact condition regardless of kinds of electric cables while pressing the electric cable into a pressure contact groove easily. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure contact part 461 has two elastic arm parts 463 extending in a vertical direction. A pressure contact groove 464 is formed on an opposite edge of the elastic arm part 463 while a pressure contact blade 465 is formed on the opposite edge. The two elastic arm parts 463 are elastically displaced in a direction which widens the pressure contact groove 464 to accept an electric cable C1, and the two elastic arm parts 463 have a first arm part 463A extending upward from the base part 463A-1 which is connected with a connection part 462 and a second arm part 463C extending downward in parallel with the first arm part 463A through a transfer part 463B which is bent at the tip of the first arm part 463A.
