<p>A device (10) is described to assist a user in the fitment of a cover about a duvet. The device (10) has a cover-receiving mouth (13), which has opposed inner surfaces (14, 15) between which the cover is inserted. Closure means (19) open and close the mouth to enable a cover to be inserted into and then gripped between the closure means (19) and an edge of the mouth (13). An attachment means enables the device (10) to be fitted about a post or the like. The closure means can be pivotally mounted to one lip of the mouth, whereby pivoting of the closure means (19) brings the closure means (19) into engaging or near engaging configuration to the opposing inner surfaces of the mouth (13). The gripping means can comprise a series of steps which can themselves be wedge shaped to aid the gripping process.</p> |
