<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus capable of giving a high-quality image showing a line-solid ratio of close to 1. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device 5 includes a latent image carrier 1, a nonmagnetic developer carrier 161 disposed opposing to the latent image carrier, and a magnet roller 25 having a plurality of magnetic poles fixed in the developer carrier. The developing device forms a magnetic brush by magnetically adsorbing magnetic developer to an outer circumference face of the developer carrier 161 and slides the magnetic brush of the developer carrier 161 on a developing region E of the latent image carrier close to the developer carrier. The developing device includes means 20 for preventing toner from being developed in a front region fe where the magnetic brush touches the latent image carrier, and which is located in an upstream side of the developing region E in the developer conveying direction of the developer carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
