<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code reading device and a program capable of quickly storing commodity information and commodity images into a commodity master file and facilitating maintenance of the commodity master file. <P>SOLUTION: The code reading device in the embodiment includes a imaging means, a reading means and a storage control means. The imaging means images an image including an image of a commodity to be registered for sale. The reading means reads commodity information indicating the commodity to be registered for sale from the imaged image. The storage control means makes the commodity master file for storing the commodity information indicating the commodities and the commodity images of the commodities indicated by the commodity information in association with each other store the imaged image in association with the read commodity information as the commodity image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
