<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict tsunami scale in each of coastal areas. <P>SOLUTION: A tide level in a measuring time pair of two measuring times having a geometrical interval with a starting time of tide level rising by tsunami as a criterion is acquired from tide level data 14A in a storage section 14 by a data acquisition section 15A, and a predictive maximum tide level of tsunami is calculated based on a tide level ratio property expression indicating a relationship between a ratio of the acquired tide level and an angular frequency of tsunami by a tsunami scale calculation section 15B. In that case, when the measuring times are defined as T<SB POS="POST">i</SB>and T<SB POS="POST">j</SB>(in which T<SB POS="POST">i</SB>-T<SB POS="POST">0</SB>=T<SB POS="POST">j</SB>-T<SB POS="POST">i</SB>=t), tide levels at the measuring times T<SB POS="POST">i</SB>and T<SB POS="POST">j</SB>are defined as h<SB POS="POST">i</SB>and h<SB POS="POST">j</SB>, and the angular frequency of tsunami is defined as ω, the angular frequency ω is calculated based on the following tide level ratio property expression of h<SB POS="POST">j</SB>/h<SB POS="POST">i</SB>=2cos(ω×t), and a predictive maximum tide level A is calculated based on the following expression of A=h<SB POS="POST">i</SB>/sin(ω×t). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
