<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized lever fitting type connector. <P>SOLUTION: The connector comprises a housing having a body part, in which a terminal fitting is housed, and a pair of convex parts projecting from the body part; and a lever, to which hole parts for penetrating a pair of the convex parts are provided, and which are rotatable to a fitting position from a non-fitting position before being fitted with an opposite connector while the convex parts are penetrating through the hole parts, to a fitting position, at which the opposite connector approaches to be fitted with the housing. An engagement receiving part projecting and nipping the lever between it and the body part is provided to the convex part, and the lever is provided with a first position, at which it is overlaid with the engagement receiving part at the non-fitting position, and a second position, at which it is overlaid with the engagement receiving part at the fitting position.
