CIRCUIT FOR CALCULATING BATTERY RESIDUAL AMOUNT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a battery residual amount based on an output voltage of the battery.

SOLUTION: A circuit for calculating the battery residual amount is equipped with: a detection section for detecting the output voltage of the battery; a first data storage section for storing the first data which show a relation between a rate of the battery residual amount to a battery capacity in the case the battery is charged or discharged respectively at plural current values and the output voltage, by making the first data to correspond to the respective plural current values; a second data storage section for storing the second data corresponded to the battery residual amount; a first calculation section for calculating the charge/discharge currents of the battery based on the first data, the second data, and the output voltage; and an update section for updating the second data based on the calculated charge/discharge currents.
