<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier excellent in hardness, toughness (flexibility and elasticity), and wear resistance (scraping and peeling) of a coating film. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier of electrostatic latent image developer comprises core particles having magnetism, and resin layers coating the core particles. The resin layer includes a resin obtained by heating a copolymer having an acrylic component having a siloxane bond, an acrylic component having a cross-linking precursor, and an acrylic component. A contact angle of a droplet of a toluene solution containing 25 mass% of a solid component of the copolymer before heating is 90 to 105 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
