<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide another technology for reducing stripes possibly formed on a joint between two unit print regions printed by different main scanning operations. <P>SOLUTION: In image data expressed by 256-gradation CMYK values before half-tone processed, a total value of the CMYK values is obtained as an ink quantity index value of a target pixel for each of a plurality of target pixels belonging to line image data corresponding to a rear end raster of a band (S31), when it is determined that the density of the target pixel is relatively low based on the ink quantity index value (S33: NO), the CMYK value of the target pixel is not adjusted, and when it is determined that the density of the target pixel is relatively high based on the ink quantity index value of the target pixel (S33: YES), the CMYK value is adjusted so as to reduce the density of the target pixel (S34-S39). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
