PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with a terminal fitting which has excellent waterproofness, and the terminal fitting.

SOLUTION: An electric wire with a terminal fitting 10 is made by connecting a terminal fitting 12 to a terminal of an electric wire 11 formed by coating an outer periphery of a core wire 13 with an insulation coating 14. The terminal fitting 12 comprises a connecting portion 20 connected to a conductive member, a wire barrel 17 press-contacted to a terminal of the core wire 13 exposed from a terminal of the insulation coating 14, and a linking portion 19 linking the wire barrel 17 and the connecting portion 20. The linking portion 19 is provided with a cut-off wall 22 made by molding a synthetic resin material. A cylindrical water cut-off coating 24 is provided over the cut-off wall 22 and the terminal of the insulating coating 14 to cover the core wire 13, by sticking to an outer surface of the cut-off wall 22 and an outer surface of the terminal of the insulation coating 14. An uneven portion 40 is formed at least on a surface on which the core wire 13 is disposed, out of a boundary surface 30 with the cut-off wall 22 in the linking portion 19.
